Last year, over 150 rescued cubs grew up in our foster system and this year we expect even more. We need to build 20 additional rehab pens at a total cost of £10,000. This is where a team of 15 staff and volunteers, taking on a challenge, comes in!
Story
From Death Road to Tough Mudder.
In Memory of Tilly.
15km. 20 obstacles. One very special reason.
In September 2026, I’m taking on a 15km Tough Mudder with the incredible team at The Fox Project — 20 brutal obstacles, freezing water, mud, climbs, crawls… and even electric shocks.
Recently I cycled Bolivia’s infamous “Death Road.”
Apparently I didn’t think that was quite challenging enough… so now I’m adding electricity and ice baths to the mix.
But this challenge runs far deeper than endurance.
After Tilly was killed, I was completely broken. For months I struggled to leave the house. The world felt smaller, heavier, and painfully quiet. Volunteering at The Fox Project was the first step I took back into life. It gave me purpose when I had none and hope when I couldn’t see much ahead.
Now I’m choosing to push myself — physically and mentally — in memory of my brave, beautiful little Tilly.
Our goal is to raise £10,000 to build 20 foster and release pens for rescued fox cubs, giving them a safe space to grow strong before returning to the wild. Every donation helps turn heartbreak into healing — not just for me, but for the foxes who deserve a second chance.
If Tilly taught me anything, it’s that love doesn’t end. It transforms.
So I’ll be running, climbing, crawling and probably questioning my life choices — all for her. 🐾
If you can donate, share, or simply cheer me on, it would mean the world.
