On Sunday 31st May 2026 I will be attempting to run the Manchester half marathon to raise money for Moya Cole Hospice (previously St Ann’s Hospice) in memory of my mum.

For those that don’t know, we lost my mum in October 2024, a life altering event that I have still not come to terms with.

St Ann’s provide end of life care in a calm and peaceful environment as well offering emotional support to family and loved ones. A lot of their funding comes from public donations.

Running is not something I find easy, and I have never ran anything like this distance before, so it will be a huge challenge and achievement, and will hopefully add some funds to the services provided by St Ann’s.
