I‘m running a marathon! Yikes! It’s Zurich Marathon, and my first one. I would be overjoyed if I raised some money for Playschool in doing so.

Both my children have attended Playschool, and I am a parent volunteer and cover teacher there. It’s a lovely little community preschool, run from the scout hut at Hunters Bar.

2 out of 4 community preschools in our area sadly had to close recently, and many other Early Years settings around the country are struggling financially. Ultimately leading to closure! Charity preschool settings like ours are dramatically underfunded due to the discrepancy of Early Years government funding and the actually running costs of the setting.
