As I start the second year of my captaincy, I am delighted to announce that I will continue to support the Well Wishers charity at Walsall Hospital. In my first year we raised £3,000 and hope to do the same, if not better, in the coming year.

Having experienced first-hand the facilities and the service that the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides, I wanted to give something back to them. All funds raised are spent exclusively for charitable purposes to improve the health and well being of patients across the Trust’s hospital and community services and the funds we raise will go to the breast care unit.

At a time when the NHS is struggling we can but help in other ways to make those who require medical treatment have a better experience including their families and the staff that are treating them.
