Support Ashgate Hospice staff and volunteers jumping from new heights!

This year, our incredible team is taking fundraising to new heights—literally! We’re jumping out of a plane (with parachutes, of course!) to support Ashgate Hospice, a place very close to all our hearts.

On Saturday 6th September, our brave staff and volunteers will be free-falling from 15,000 feet, all in the name of making a difference. Every donation, big or small, will help Ashgate Hospice continue to provide free, compassionate care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses such as cancer and neurological diseases.

Based in North Derbyshire, we provide palliative and end of life care, ensuring our patients are well-supported and comfortable. Our services also extend to the people who are important to them, offering practical help and emotional support.

The majority of our services are funded through community generosity, with over 60% of our budget coming from donations and 31% from local NHS contributions. At Ashgate, our vision is for people to have the right care and support when it matters most.

Why We’re Doing This

We believe in pushing ourselves beyond our comfort zones (and trust me, this is completely outside of mine!) to create real change. By taking on this thrilling challenge, we hope to raise and much-needed funds so we can continue to care for the people of North Derbyshire.
