Both myself and Andy are ex-regular soldiers both having completed a full career with operational deployments worldwide. We both have friends who have been seriously injured and some that paid the ultimate price whilst serving. There are many ex-serving personnel who are living with life changing injuries both physical and mental and there are also many ex-forces personnel who have fallen on hard times after they leave the Services. 'Walking with the Wounded' aims to assist these personnel not only with support but also to ensure they continue to thrive.

Myself and Andy are looking to raise funds to support the work of Walking with the Wounded by taking on the challange of reaching Everest Base Camp but going via the Gokyo valley that includes having to cross the Cho-La pass at over 5000m before joining the EBC trail again.

The past years have taken their toll on the nation financially but any and all support we can offer collectively to help get those in need back on their feet and in a better place is more than welcomed. Lets do what we can to suppprt those who need us now having given thier all in support of our country.
