Raising money for Walking With The Wounded

In a world filled with challenges, our veterans deserve unwavering support and we’re here to provide mental health, employment and care coordination programmes to help them get back on their feet. Join us in shaping a future where veterans thrive and families flourish.

Story

Both myself and Lee are ex-regular soldiers both having completed a full career with operational deployments worldwide. We both have friends who have been seriously injured and some that paid the ultimate price whilst serving. There are many ex-serving personnel who are living with life changing injuries both physical and mental and there are also many ex-forces personnel who have fallen on hard times after they leave the Services. 'Walking with the Wounded' aims to assist these personnel not only with support but also to ensure they continue to thrive.

Myself and Lee are looking to raise funds to support the work of Walking with the Wounded by taking on the challange of reaching Everest Base Camp but going via the Gokyo valley that includes having to cross the Cho-La pass at over 5000m before joining the EBC trail again.

We know that the cost of living crisis is having a massive impact on all of us. but if you are able to please help by donating or better still strap on your boots and come and join us!
