Story
As many of you know, the work we do means we see first-hand how tough life can be for some of the children and families we support at Look Ahead.
This Christmas will be especially difficult for many of them, people who’ve felt the cold and isolation of homelessness, young people leaving care with little support, and children living in temporary accommodation or escaping unsafe situations at home. Many face daily challenges due to long-term mental health needs, learning disabilities or complex health issues.
That’s why I’m taking part in the Santa in the City Run on Wednesday 3rd December, running 4K to raise funds that will bring a little warmth and joy to those who need it most. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards providing warm meals, gifts and festive moments for the children and families we support.
Most of you have worked alongside me and the FM team for years, through tough projects, tight deadlines, and the occasional chaos we somehow always manage to fix. You’ve seen how much our services matter—not just in theory, but in real, human moments.
If you’re able to donate, even a little, it would mean a lot to me personally. And it would make a genuine difference to children and families who could use a bit of hope this Christmas.
Thank you all for your support over the years, and for anything you’re able to give.
Wishing you and your families a warm, joyful Christmas. 🎄✨
Fabian
