We’re taking on a 30km walk across London – from London Bridge all the way to Richmond – to support Depaul UK and their vital work tackling youth homelessness.

Our day will begin with a visit to Depaul UK’s accommodation centre near London Bridge, before we set off along the Thames for the 30km journey to Richmond. Along the way, we’ll be reflecting on the experiences of the young people Depaul UK supports – many of whom face unimaginable instability and uncertainty.

This challenge builds on last year’s fundraiser, when nine of us walked the full 21km length of the Victoria Line carrying weighted backpacks. We may be leaving the heavy bags behind this time, but we’re pushing ourselves further with an even longer route because the cause matters more than ever.

By taking on this challenge, we hope to build empathy, raise awareness, and most importantly, raise the funds Depaul UK needs to continue providing safe accommodation, practical support, and a lifeline to young people facing homelessness.
