I am excited to be taking part in the second Edrington Stride event in Glasgow this Thursday - 22nd August. We are walking the first 33km of the West Highland Way - hopefully in glorious Scottish sunshine!

Along with my colleagues, we are raising funds for Giving More International which will triple match and then donate this money to our nominated charities The Marie Trust & Right There - two Glasgow based charities working to fight homeless, poverty and social inequality. For every £10 I raise, the charities will get £40!

The Marie Trust in Glasgow has been responding to the complex and often challenging needs of people affected by homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion since 2009.

Since 1824, Right There in Govan, Glasgow has provided on the ground support to people experiencing poverty or social inequality; people fleeing violence, family breakdowns or addictions.
