St John's Hospice trek to India 2024!

Story

Those close to us know this charity is very close to our both of hearts, so we”ve decided to step right out of our comfort zones & take part in this challenge to raise money for our local hospice in memory of Jay.

Emma’s husband Jay, a close friend of myself & Shaun, received amazing care from St John’s. He’d look at the pair of us & think we are crazy, which we think we’ve established we are, but his memory will drive us to reach our goal.

We’ve got memories of camping with the kids (more like glamping) but this will be on another level! We will arrive in Delhi, spend a night on a sleeper train then trek through the foothills of the Indian Himalayas & spend 4 nights in a tent.

We are funding the trip ourselves, so every penny we fundraise will be direct to the hospice.

St Johns Hospice is a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Our services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. We have been caring for our community every minute of every day since 1986
