For the past 25 years I've been lucky enough to work for Home-Start Staffordshire Moorlands and at the end of October I will be retiring. Over the last 25 years, the scheme has supported thousands of parents and children across the district and we have trained over a thousand volunteers. I have felt so honoured to have been welcomed into families homes and our amazing volunteers have inspired me with their commitment and enthusiasm.

As part of our Home-Start's 25th anniversary we are organising a sponsored challenge walk to raise funds to help maintain this valuable and important service, and I'll be putting one foot in front of the other to walk this challenge. If you are able to sponsor me, I'd be tickled pink and very grateful - and you'd be helping to make a real difference to the lives of children in the early years in our Moorlands district into the future.
