Emmie's Books is a small but passionate charity dedicated to bringing joy, comfort, and distraction to children undergoing cancer treatment by donating carefully chosen books to hospitals across the UK. Inspired by the brave journey of Emmie, who was treated for cancer at Great Ormond Street Hospital, we understand how powerful a story can be during long hospital stays, moments of fear, or simply when a child needs a little escape.

Every book we provide is a moment of magic - a chance for a child to laugh, dream, or be transported to another world, even from a hospital bed. We work closely with hospitals, families, and children to make sure the books we send are meaningful and tailored to the child’s age, interests, and needs.
