Story
Over the 4 years that Mighty Convoy has been going to Ukraine, we’ve developed a special relationship with a school in Lviv.
We’ve been able to take clothing, musical instruments and also English language speakers to work at the school and help them.
Head Principal, Myroslava Corop asked if we could help them again. They suffer from regular power cuts and in Winter, when it’s dark and cold, it’s very difficult to keep the school running. They only have a very small smelly diesel generator which is hardly any use.
We would like to buy them a back up power facility which can be charged when the electricity supply is on, then used like a battery when the power is cut. The cost for the smallest useful system is approx £6,000. If we raise more than that, we can upgrade to greater battery storage. If we don’t meet the target, we will look for other ways to fill the shortfall.
Friends of Mighty Convoy, you’ve been amazing already supporting our efforts in Ukraine. Many of you have asked if there is anything else you can help Ukraine with. Here is your chance. Please can you dig deep once again and help the Ukrainian kids with their education this winter?
Thank you
