A Happy Tails Odyssey - Hope for adoption

Lynda Dacruz is raising money for Saving Saints and St Bernard and Big Paws Rescue UK
The Happy Tails shelter in Nafpaktos, Greece, has relied on community volunteers to care for over 100 rescued dogs—many of them large breeds. We have worked in partnership for years and are now ready to step up to restore the shelter. Join us!

Story

My recent visit to the Happy Tails shelter in Nafpaktos truly opened my eyes to the plight of dogs in Greece. Unlike here in the UK where dogs in shelters at least have a chance of adoption, these Greek dogs have very little hope of finding a forever home. They yearn for human interaction, never experience walks, and prospective owners simply don't come to visit them.

I'm committed to making a difference. By fostering, I want to bring a dog from Greece to our home in the UK, offering them the crucial bridge to a new, loving life. This incredible opportunity comes with a significant cost: transporting a single dog is approximately £400. We're reaching out for your support – any contribution towards these transport costs will directly help us bring a deserving dog to safety and a new beginning.
