Story
Hello all!
Those of you who know me will already know that on 30th September 2024 our precious Son, Lennon, was born. He was born with a unilateral right sided cleft lip and palate. So far he’s been on an incredible journey and one that myself and my family are incredibly proud of. The early days were filled with a lot of learning, understanding and fear. CLAPA as a charity helped us tremendously, we were provided with irreplaceable support, guidance and even specialised bottles by the charity.
Lennon has now had two successful surgeries and will continue his Cleft journey into adulthood with more surgeries along the way.
My Sister, Brother and I would like to give back to this amazing charity which is very close to our hearts.
Please feel free to sponsor us, as we are taking part and running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 12th April 2026.
Thanks for your time in reading this, your support big or small would be so appreciated.

Three babies are born with a cleft lip and/or palate every day in the UK, and they face a 20-year treatment pathway which can continue well into adulthood. The Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) is here to make sure no one has to go through this alone.
Every donation will help CLAPA to continue to provide specialist, targeted services to give people affected by cleft the knowledge and emotional support they need, while their UK-wide community brings together people from all walks of life to share experiences and learn to cope.
