On May 3rd, a team for Mackey Opticians —Chris, Steven, Moore, and Andrew, are swapping the test room for trainers to run the Belfast City Marathon as a relay for Guide Dogs NI.

Currently, 2 million people in the UK live with sight loss, and 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone. We’re running to change that.

We’ve set a target of £500 to help Guide Dogs NI ensure that sight loss is never a barrier to a full life. Your support helps provide the independence and life-changing partnerships that mean no one is left out of life.

This fundraiser will be one of many throughout 2026 as we are proud to be supporting Guid Dogs NI as our main charity this year.
