Story
Why are you running the London Marathon? - you have MS!!
It is true that MS affects my life everyday but I am determined to carry on challenging myself despite these MS difficulties because I still can! So whilst running might be an exaggeration of what I will be doing I am grateful to be able to take part in this biggest of physical challenges.
When I was diagnosed with MS at the age of 25 the prognosis was generally dismal and there was very little in the way of treatment, support or information. Forty years later the outlook for MS is more optimistic with better treatments, research, access to specialised MS healthcare and information.
That's why I’m fundraising for MS Trust.
They are a UK charity who bring together expertise from every angle to help people feel more in control of their MS. Through trusted information, compassionate support, the training of new MS healthcare professionals, and research rooted in real experience, they’re here for every MS. Every day.

Thank you so much for your support!
