Sudan has been hit recently by a wave of fighting claiming large number of lives and leaving thousands behind in appalling humanitarian circumstances including large number of women and children plus many more displaced from their homes to neighbouring countries in an already hugely disadvantaged country that has been affected by unrest for long time.

Egypt is the northern neighbour of Sudan and as a group of 5 friends of Egyptian heritage living in England we teamed up and decided to cycle coast to coast on 10th and 11th June 2023 in symbolic solidarity with the people of Sudan (and any war affected zone) in face of this humanitarian atrocity and we are fund raising for Islamic relief foundation Sudan emergency appeal.
