Maisy & Jim's Skydive for St Barnabas House

Maisy Forsyth is raising money for Southern Hospice Group
In memory of Ann and Stuart Youngson

Skydive · 10 January 2026

St Barnabas House is the hospice for the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas. Thanks to support from the local community, adults with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones can enjoy life as fully as possible, for the time they have left.

Story

In 2020, after losing Jim's Dad, in the January, we had the awful news that Cindy's Mum, had terminal Lung Cancer. A week later we got the news that Jim's mum, had Mouth Cancer. Both mothers/grandmothers underwent treatment throughout the summer of 2020. During this time Cindy's Dad, became unwell. Unfortunately we found out in the November that he had Pancreatic Cancer, and sadly passed a few days later, with both St Barnabas and district nurses supporting him at home.

We had a wonderful Christmas with Cindy's Mum, before she passed in January 2021.

Throughout Ann's battle with Cancer, St Barnabas House gave phenomenal support and care where necessary. St Barnabas House provide end of life care in the hospice and /or the comfort of their home, for which we will forever be grateful for. After the loss of Stuart, St Barnabas supported the family in the days that followed.

After losing Ann and Stuart, Maisy and Jim set out to do a Skydive to raise money for St Barnabas, which was unfortunately cancelled.

So... during our trip to Australia in January, Maisy and Jim will be skydiving at Noosa Beach! We would appreciate any support in fundraising for this amazing charity (and any words of encouragement for the jump!).
