Story
At Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, it is our mission to ensure everyone diagnosed with lung cancer can live well with the disease for as long as possible.
For the past three decades, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation has been the driving force behind lung cancer research, investing millions of pounds into the early detection of the disease. We have done this, and will continue to do this, because we know if lung cancer is caught early, curative treatment is possible.
My Dad passed away in March from stage 4 lung cancer. He was diagnosed on 3rd March and passed away 23 days later! He kept his humour right til the end and took everything in his stride. He developed a taste for Coca-Cola and never drank the stuff before hand but couldn't get enough of it in his final days.
My Dad was a strong family man who gave us everything he possibly could and was always there for us, no matter what. He has left a huge hole in our family and if I can do one thing in his memory it will be this.
When God made Dad's mine broke the mould.
This is for you Dad ❤️
