Thousands of people take part in Ride+Stride every year to raise funds to support their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area we raised over £35,000 in 2025, for individual churches and for our grants programme.

At present the St. Mary's Painswick team consists of Margaret Radway, Delyth Allen and Dylan Davies. We're planning a walk to visit all the churches in the Beacon Benefice on 12 September - do join us! And if you are not able to participate, then please do consider sponsoring the team. Funds raising will be split 50/50 between St. Mary's and Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust who have supported our church with very generous grants, most recently for the re-roofing of the nave and chancel and installation of electric heating.
