Thousands of people take part in Ride+Stride every year to raise funds to support their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area we raised over £35,000 in 2025, for individual churches and for our grants programme.

At present the St. Mary's Painswick team consists of Margaret Radway, Delyth Allen, Niki Babbs and Dylan Davies. We're planning a walk to visit all the churches in the Beacon Benefice on 12 September - do join us! And if you are not able to participate, then please do consider sponsoring the team. Funds raising will be split 50/50 between St. Mary's and Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust who have supported our church with very generous grants, most recently for the re-roofing of the nave and chancel and installation of electric heating.
