I have never enjoyed running :-) I did not even know until today that I could complete a half marathon. It was not my kind of thing until recently when a friend suggested it and I saw the possibility to sponsor Kidney Care UK, the UK's leading kidney patient support charity.

This made me think of my dad who passed away over 7 years ago. He was on dialysis for a few years. He received a kidney transplant and all seemed to have gone well. However some post-operation complications happened and that affected his remaining years of life.

It makes me very happy now to have the chance to raise money that will be aimed to improve the lives of patients like he was.

Thanks Kidney Care UK for being the excuse for me to join today's challenge. Please friends and family, help me raise some funds for them.
