Cardiac arrest is preventable. Immediate Iife Support (ILS) saves 24% of patients in most advanced countries. Naijaid is training Nigerian healthcare professionals in ILS to manage patients on admissions as part of their Professional Development.

Story

Giving a little is better than not giving at all, and the sum of all parts can be an impactful game changer. Please help me positively change health care provision in Nigeria - my home country.

Health care provision is limited in Nigeria. Although our healthcare workers are hard working, selfless, competent and well trained, their access to limited resources means continuing development of their proficiency in the care of their patients is not sufficiently funded.

In developed countries such as the U.K., healthcare workers undergo mandatory annual training in various medical skills with ever changing evidence-based methods to ensure their continuing professionals' competency. Immediate Life Support (ILS) training is one of such skills.

The funds raised through this campaign will help equip some of the healthcare professionals in acquiring current evidence-based skills in ILS to continue to save lives.

OuNaijaid's volunteer trainers are Nigerian clinicians working in the U.K. self-funding, donating their skills, experiences time, and money traveling to Nigeria.

100% of your donations will be spent towards these projects.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. May God continue to bless you and meet your needs.
