Story
Please will you donate to sponsor a Daffodil bulb planted in the Durham Marie Curie Field of Hope? We have two Field of Hope sites located at the Durham University Botanic Garden and the green in Sherburn Village.
Our Durham 'Fields of Hope' are set to be an annual colourful tribute to loved ones we have lost to terminal illnesses.
In return for your donation, you can have a daffodil planted in memory of your loved one and an entry in our book of remembrance.
Please leave your 'in memory' message in the comment box as you make your donation so we can add it to our book. Alternatively, you can email your message to molly.winton@mariecurie.org.uk.
All funds raised will support people living with a terminal illness in County Durham. Our Marie Curie nurses work night and day in people's homes across County Durham and offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.
To find out more about how you can pay a special tribute to a loved one through the Fields of Hope, phone Durham Marie Curie Community Fundraiser, Molly Winton, on 07713 708 954 or search for the Marie Curie Durham Fundraising Group on Facebook.
The Durham Field of Hope (Botanic Garden) is kindly supported by Pity Me Nursery, Durham University Botanic Garden and Friends of the Garden.
The Durham Field of Hope (Sherburn Village) is kindly supported by Homes by Esh, Durham County Council and Sherburn Village Parish Council.
