Just a quick note to share that I’ll be running the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid on 26 April.

For those who don’t know me, I’m Marius — and this is me taking on the Madrid marathon as a personal challenge (and, hopefully, getting to the finish line in one piece).

Beacon is a Brighton-based charity supporting people living with HIV and those facing life-limiting illnesses across Sussex. It provides specialist HIV support services — including casework, peer support and wellbeing programmes — as well as hospice and palliative care through its inpatient unit and community services.

The charity works to ensure people can live well with HIV and receive compassionate, high-quality care at the end of life when needed. Much of this work depends on fundraising and community support, which makes events like half marathons and marathons an important part of sustaining their services.
