Story
On Friday, 14th November, I will be sleeping out in solidarity with the 9,000 people in Greater Manchester who are currently experiencing homelessness. This will be my 4th time and last year was very wet, sleety and freezing. I had trench foot for days but I’m hoping it will be a little drier this time.
I'm raising funds for the Booth Centre, an organisation that is the first port of call in a crisis, a warm and safe space, and a thriving community. They provide everything from accommodation support, to employability, to wellbeing activities. Imagine you've spent a night sleeping rough, and in the morning, the Booth Centre is there, with a cup of tea, a hot breakfast, and the experts you need to help.
Every penny raised will go towards the continuous work of the Booth Centre.
