Run for MEP

Thanks for taking the time to visit!

I'm going to run until I can't run anymore to help raise money for Mobile Education Partnerships (MEP). Help me get past that finish line in one piece ... running, walking, or crawling, whatever it takes! :-)

MEP are an amazing home-grown UK charity created by teachers to provide education and teacher training to students and teachers in conflict affected areas in Myanmar and the Thai/Myanmar border.

Why Myanmar, why now? I lived and worked in Myanmar for many years, first starting a school for rural youth in the north, then moving south to continue teaching and to provide advocacy support for persons with disabilities. The current internal conflict has resulted in a truly fragile education sector, so every bit of support for students and teachers is super valuable. Thank you, MEP, for your great education projects.
