Story
I’m taking part in Walk for Myton as part of Lewis Williams’ 20 in 26 - a campaign to raise £20,000 in one year for The Myton Hospices.
The Myton Hospices provides free, compassionate care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Myton supports people at home, through its Wellbeing Services, and in its Inpatient Units in Warwick and Coventry, which are the only hospice beds in the region.
Every year, Myton supports over 2,000 people and their families, but as a charity, it relies on donations and fundraising to continue providing its services free of charge.
It costs over £15 million every year to provide our services free of charge to our patients and their loved ones. As a charity, with less than 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we must raise more than £12 million this year.
I’m proud to be taking part in Walk for Myton and supporting Lewis! Please donate today!
