Story
My Dad was a very proud veteran, who in his time supported both active and veteran servicemen, women and their families.
7 years ago the world lost his shining light and the positivity he brought to so many. This is my way of remembering him, honouring what he believed in and continuing that support for those who put themselves in harms way so I don’t have to.
I am swapping my bed for a sleeping bag on the 30th March, from 12 noon until 12 noon I will be outside. Eating food off a camping stove and sleeping on the ground. (I may have a tent)
I am hoping to raise some vital funds and awareness for over 6000 veterans who are experiencing homelessness in the UK right now.
With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.
Please help me to raise much-needed funds for this incredible cause.
Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is a national charity. Since 1919 they have provided crucial accommodation, welfare and employment support to injured veterans and people with disabilities. They improve lives every day by inspiring those they help and supporting them to find work and lead independent lives. Right now, for every person they can help, there’s one they can’t.
Please help me support this amazing charity by donating to my fundraising page.
