So I caved in and I’ve finally decided to run a marathon.On April 7th 2024 I will be taking part in the brighton marathon raising money for sands charity.

Why?

Many of you may not be aware but I am in-fact a rainbow baby 🕊️And I want to honour what would have been my older brother ‘Toby’ 26th year on earth by running 26 miles. Along with running 26 miles before I turn 26.

If you are not aware of sands. Sands is a Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity

in the United Kingdom that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby.

Any support would mean the world. And feel free to join me on training runs, I’ll need the support. I will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon in March as a warm up for the big event. 

Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
