26miles for 26 years 🫶🏻

So I caved in and I’ve finally decided to run a marathon.

On April 7th 2024, I will participate in the Brighton Marathon. I will be raising money for Sands, and Home Instead.

Why Sands? 🧡

Many of you may not be aware but I am in fact a ‘rainbow baby’ 🌈. I want to honour what would have been my older brothers 26th year on earth, by running 26 miles.

If you are not aware of sands. Sands is a Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity is a national charity in the United Kingdom that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby.

Why Home Instead?

I will be running my first marathon in memory of my Grandma Bonnie. My Grandma was a strong and fearless woman who taught me so much. Loved by many, she was the perfect role model in my younger years.

Home instead provided the best possible care they could have done for my grandma in her final years. Allowing her to stay in the comfort of her own home feeling safe and relaxed, along with keeping her looking as glam as ever. As a family, we cannot praise the nurses enough for the support they offered not just to my Grandma, but also to Grandpa when they needed it most

I have a place so there is no minimum donation. I am looking to raise awareness to smaller charities. Any support would mean the world. And feel free to join me on training runs.
