Well, I'm amazed, thank you everyone. You're really spurring me on to walk the walk! Given you've helped me reach my original stretch goal, I would like to see if we can be really ambitious.

When a London university offers a talented overseas student an academic scholarship, they still have to find somewhere to live. And the cost of that can be so high they give up their chance of a world class education. This year, International Students House has provided 36 accommodation scholarships to enable students make the most of their opportunity. It costs £16,235 per year and £5,411 funds a term of accommodation at I.S.H. I'd love to aim to fundraise to cover a term of accomodation and meals for one of our brilliant residents. Thanks for motivating me to keep on walking!

Thank you everyone for your generosity! As promised, you've helped hit my original fundraising goal early, so I have now DOUBLED the distance I aim to walk in May, to 120 miles! I've also doubled the fundraising target to match. Wish me and my tired feet luck. It's an absolute pleasure to do it for International Students House though.

It is a great privilege to have been CEO of International Students House since 2016. And now I'm joining the celebrations and will walk 60 miles in May to mark our special birthday! I would really appreciate it if you would sponsor me and support International Students' House.

I'm walking to help ISH provide a 'home from home' for international students while they study and work far from family and friends. We surround them in a safe community and provide a range of support as they adjust to life in London. We want them to thrive and make the most of their time here.

Not only do we offer scholarships, making a world-class education available to the brightest students. But we also provide emergency financial support for those in need.
