Before I had children I ran the London Marathon and have never attempted one since. The same year I ran that Run (2012) I started supporting local Charity Homestart Manchester and I now volunteer as a Trustee.

Personally, I want to prove I can still complete this challenge with children & ‘grown up’ things to manage alongside my training as well as having a body that breaks far easier and needs its rest!

Homestart supports local families with children under 5 years old to get the best start in life and has been close to me for 14 year.
