I’m turning 18 in march, and this year marks ten years since the domestic abuse my mum and I suffered ended. Hitting this milestone has made us reflect on how far we’ve come. We were so lucky to have people around us to help but not all families are as lucky as we were. We want to raise this money to help other people who are still going through what we once did. As we entered a new chapter of our lives we were still faced with reminders of the past but we had each other. The money we raise goes to helping people who have suffered and are still suffering due to the abuse. It’s our way of giving back 🫶
