We’re survivors of domestic abuse and our abuse ended exactly ten years ago, as Maryam turns 18 we reflect on the strength and resilience that we both showed during such a difficult time in our lives. We were so blessed to have family and friends who supported us during this period of time but not everyone has that support. We want to support those who have suffered and are still suffering from the domestic abuse that they face. This is our way of giving back, help us to raise awareness and give back to those who aren’t as fortunate as we’ve been.
