Story

Ayesha was a bright, joyful girl whose vision loss changed everything. She could no longer read, play, or recognize her parents. Her father, Waheed Khan, who runs a small tea stall in a local market, felt helpless as sadness took over their home. Unable to afford treatment, Waheed watched his daughter’s world grow darker. Then they found hope at LRBT. With kindness and expert care, LRBT restored Ayesha’s sight at no cost. Now she’s back at school, reading, laughing, and dreaming again, bringing joy and hope to her family.

Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) is the largest charity providing free eye care for the underprivileged in Pakistan. They have treated over 57 million patients to date through their extensive network of 20 hospitals and 61 eye clinics across Pakistan. LRBT operate the largest network of free eye care facilities to help the most under served communities.

My dear Supporters & Donors, over the last 4 years you have helped me raise around £9,000 of donations for LRBT via your support of my participation in LRBT's annual 25 Km trek - many thanks and may God bless you. JazakAllah Khair.

Insha'Allah, in 2025 I plan to participate for the 5th year in LRBT's 25 Km trek. The trek will be in Kent Downs on 11th Oct 2025. I look forward to your support and generous donations for an excellent cause which I wholeheartedly support given LRBT's mission that no man, woman, or child should go blind just because they cannot afford treatment.
