Support the next generation to escape the poverty cycle for good

Too many children from disadvantaged backgrounds face a lifetime of unfulfilled potential, trapped in poverty, simply because they started school already behind and never caught up.

Maritime Children’s Foundation work alongside families from the very beginning - offering parenting classes, personal mentoring, health services in schools, and hands-on help through key transitions such as starting secondary school. With the right support, vulnerable children can grow up with confidence, fulfil their potential, and break free from the cycle of poverty for good.

Our work is purely funded through donations. So we decided to get together on the 21st June and do a sponsored marathon walk along the Thames path from Greenwich to Ebbsfleet. Yes, 26 whole miles!
