Story
Hello! This year I’m taking on the Great North Run to raise funds for Sunday for Sammy - a charity that’s deeply rooted in our North East creative community.
Sunday for Sammy is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a bold goal: raising £25,000 to fund bursaries for students on Gateshead College’s new Level 4 Creative Enterprise course. These bursaries break down financial barriers, giving young musicians, actors, writers, filmmakers, and technicians a real shot at building a career in the arts.
The North East has shaped me both as a musician and as a person, and I believe in giving the next generation the same chance to chase their creative dreams. Every mile I run will be for them - and every donation brings us closer to creating a thriving future for our region’s talent.
I am running the GNR with 10 more lovely Sunday for Sammy fundraisers, so my personal goal is £2500. If you can, please sponsor me and help us reach that £25k target. Together, we can help fund the careers of the next generation of artists in the North East!
Thank you so much for reading and for any donations you can afford.
