The Giles' Trust was set up in 2015 by England cricketer Ashley Giles and his wife, Stine, to raise money to fund vital brain tumour research at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Make a donation and help to change lives today.

Story

In loving memory of our incredible Dad, we’re taking on a challenge that’s close to our hearts — hiking 100km over 3 days along the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, one of his favourite places.

Dad was treated at University Hospitals Birmingham when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The care he received was exceptional, and we want to give back by supporting The Giles’ Trust, the Brain Tumour Research Fund that helps make this care possible.

Why We're Fundraising

In Kerry’s words:

“Dad was treated at University Hospitals Birmingham when he was diagnosed with his brain tumour. The staff were incredible, and we want to take the opportunity to fundraise to continue to help the incredible work they do.”

The money raised will help The Giles’ Trust to:

Fund world-leading research into brain tumours

Provide cutting-edge equipment

Offer ‘added extras’ that make a patient’s time in hospital easier

Our Team

Kerry, Mark, Matt, and Rachel — along with Dad’s 15-month-old granddaughter — will be walking together in his memory. She’ll be joining us for parts of the journey, making this tribute even more special.

How You Can Help

We’d be so grateful for your support. Every donation, big or small, helps us honour Dad’s memory and support a cause that means so much to our family.

Please donate and share this page to help us reach our goal. Thank you for walking this path with us.
