Story
There are currently nearly one million people living with dementia in the UK, and this number is expected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040. It's a cause especially close to my heart after my dad suffered with dementia.
Alzheimer’s Society is working tirelessly towards a future where dementia no longer destroys lives, through vital support services, groundbreaking research, and campaigning for change.
This June, colleagues from across the insurance industry are once again coming together to take on a challenge in support of Alzheimer’s Society. This year, we’ll be taking on part of the Transylvania Trail which includes a demanding 3 day trek covering around 100km. The route will take us through steep mountain passes, ancient forests, sweeping valleys and dramatic rock formations. It will test us physically and mentally, but the cause makes every step worthwhile.
Your support truly makes a difference
Together, we can help end the devastation caused by dementia!
