Story
Myself and my colleagues from Pumpkin Patch Nurseries will be trekking along the Great Wall of China in October 2026!!Before we set off, we’re aiming to raise as much money as possible for Chestnut Tree House and the amazing work they do. I will be running the Worthing half marathon and climbing Mt Snowdon to fundraise.
Once October comes around we will be walking through the mountains and along the wall for seven consecutive days..
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for Sussex and South East Hampshire. Thanks to support from the local community children and families who know they don’t have long together have the chance to live life to the full. And, when the time comes, Chestnut Tree House is there for children and families to provide specialist end-of-life care and ongoing support.
The generosity of the local community makes this happen. It costs almost £6 million every year to provide hospice care for local children, with only 21% of this funded by the government. You can show your support by fundraising, volunteering, taking on a challenge, playing the Chestnut Tree House lottery, or leaving a gift in your Will.
