My name is Clyde, and I’m a Guide Dog puppy in training. On behalf of me, my puppy pals, and all Guide Dogs everywhere, thank you so much for stopping by – we really appreciate it (tails wagging already!).

In June 2024, Maxine set herself a huge challenge: to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Guide Dogs, a charity extremely close to her heart. She completed her first LLHM in 2025, and this will be her second year in succession – because once Maxine commits, she doesn’t do things by halves (only half marathons 🐕‍🦺).

Fun fact: I am Maxine’s 14th sponsored Guide Dog puppy. That’s an incredible 98 dog-years’ worth of sponsorship, all dedicated to helping puppies like me grow up to change lives.

This year, Maxine wants to go even further. In 2025, she smashed her fundraising target – and for 2026, she’s aiming higher than ever, with a bold goal of £2,500. Every pound raised helps Guide Dogs train puppies like me so that one day we can support people with sight loss to live independent, confident lives.

🏃‍♀️ The Challenge

Maxine is aiming to complete the Half Marathon in under 2 hours. Any extra donations or “performance incentives” to keep her motivated will be very gratefully received – we’ll be waiting at the finish line with cuddles, wagging tails, and puppy kisses to say thank you!
