🏃 Running for UK for UNHCR – Hairy Haggis Relay Run
This year, colleagues from Menzies Aviation Edinburgh Park are taking on the Hairy Haggis Relay Run at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival to raise funds for UK for UNHCR.
The Hairy Haggis Relay is a team challenge, with four runners each completing a section of the marathon course around Edinburgh. It’s all about teamwork, resilience and pushing ourselves for a cause bigger than the finish line.
We’re running in support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
Right now, more than 100 million people worldwide have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and crisis. UNHCR provides life-saving emergency support as well as long-term assistance including protection, education, healthcare and livelihood programmes that help families rebuild their lives.
At Menzies Aviation, this cause is personal.
Since the start of 2025, we have hired 60 refugees across our Mexico operations as part of our partnership with UK for UNHCR — creating real pathways to employment, stability and inclusion.
Now, we’re lacing up our trainers to go even further.
Every donation made through this page will support UNHCR’s global humanitarian response, helping provide safety, dignity and opportunity to those who need it most.
Whether you donate £5 or £50, your support makes a real difference.
Thank you for backing our team and helping us make every mile count.
