On October 8th, 20 dedicated members of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team's pit crew will be taking on the incredible Three Peaks Challenge in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Our goal is to conquer the highest peaks of Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) — all within 24 hours. To help us cover the distance between mountains, we’ll be driving five Mercedes vehicles from peak to peak.

As a pit crew, we’re used to working under intense pressure and high speed as we navigate the demanding 2024 F1 season. We've been training relentlessly, focusing on physical conditioning not just for the crucial seconds in pit stops, but also to handle the grueling 24-race calendar. This challenge will push us in a new way, testing both our endurance and resilience.

We’re proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital, which provides life-saving care for children with rare and complex diseases. They lead in groundbreaking research and use cutting-edge medical equipment to pioneer new treatments. GOSH also offers supportive services, including play therapy and family accommodations, creating a child-friendly environment to make hospital stays easier and more enjoyable.

At the same time, this challenge offers our team the chance to bond outside the high-stakes world of the F1 paddock in what promises to be a fun, memorable experience.
