Story
Mia is taking part in the park run with her friends to raise money for the school playground .
At Ark Franklin, we believe that every child deserves a vibrant and engaging play environment. Our playground is in dire need of refurbishment, and unfortunately, school budgets do not allow for the exciting new projects that our children truly deserve.
This year, we are embarking on a mission to transform the Key Stage 1 playground into a dynamic play space that inspires creativity and physical activity. The current “stone pit” area has seen better days and is underutilized. With the support of our School Council, we envision creating an exhilarating “trim trail” that will encourage children to be fit, active, and engaged in play with their peers.
To bring this vision to life, we are aiming to raise £20,000 for the Ark Franklin Playground refurbishment 2025 project. Additionally, I will be participating in the Queens Park parkrun on March 23rd. I kindly ask for your support in making this dream a reality for our children. Together, we can create a safe and exciting space where they can thrive!
