I'm part of a team taking on Race the Sun South Downs for children's charity Action Medical Research and Charlie's Promise, a charity dedicated to helping to fight against knife crime locally and across the UK.

In April I will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a challenging course in a race against the sun.

Action Medical Research have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

Charlie's Promise was set up in the wake of Charlie's death after being stabbed at a party. They educate young people by sharing Charlie's story and the devastating impact that his death has had on his family and friends and the wider community.

By supporting our team you will be helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to educate all children as they grow into young adults about the dangers and impact of knife crime.
