What you really need to know is that every £20 raised will pay for a mental health session for someone, with a trained counsellor from Don't Lose Hope.

Michael O'Keeffe has started on the Original Ethels Pilgrimage route - a month long and 730km through the Peak District. Discovering the counties of Derbyshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, the route joins together the 95 Ethel hills and mountains of the Dark and White Peak.

This unique exploration of the Peak District carves its way through limestone dales and gritstone moorland to discover hidden gems and histories. From ancient geological features, Roman settlements and medieval villages to the locations of literary treasures and modern films.

Michael's challenge is to be the first person to complete this route in one continuous effort, and to raise awareness of the work of Don't Lose Hope, a Lincolnshire mental health charity which support hundreds of people of all ages to come to terms with their own challenges.
