Shelli's Sky Dive for Rockinghorse Children's Charity

Shelli Winstone is raising money for Rockinghorse Children's Charity

Team: Rockinghorse BHAFC Family

Sky Dive · 10 May 2025

Rockinghorse is a Brighton-based charity which has been supporting children for over 50 years. It was set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann to improve healthcare services for sick children and babies. The charity fundraises for items for every child's treatment, from toys to life-saving equipment.

Story

On May 10th, I will take a leap—literally—by skydiving 15,000 ft, with my friends Brett and Victoria, to raise money for The Rocking Horse Charity.

The charity support babies, children, and families at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton, and specialist children’s wards across Sussex.

This isn’t just about the thrill of free-falling; it’s about making a difference for a cause close to our hearts.

My friend Brett, and his wife Helen have a personal reason for giving back. Their beautiful twins spent their first seven weeks in this world, in the Trevor Mann Unit, Brighton, receiving incredible care. More recently, their little boy underwent operations at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, where the staff were also outstanding.

Grateful for the care their precious babies received, Brett on behalf of his family is raising funds, to give something back to this incredible charity. I am honored, to join him by skydiving to help raise as much money as possible.

Every penny raised ensures other families receive the same exceptional care. Please consider donating—every contribution makes a real difference.

Let’s make this jump count! Thank you for your support.
